1. Agreement

By accessing harewoodswift.com, using our services, or opting in to receive SMS or email from us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Harewood Swift Freight LLC (HSF, we, us, our), a Charlotte, North Carolina limited liability company.

2. Services Provided

HSF provides freight dispatch, brokerage, and carrier services across the United States, including but not limited to JIT (just-in-time) medical, pharmaceutical, automotive, cold-chain, reefer, dry van, flatbed, and high-value freight movement.

4. Quotes & Rates

Freight quotes generated through our online calculator are estimates based on the data you provide. Final rates are confirmed in writing prior to dispatch. Quotes are valid for 24 hours unless otherwise stated. HSF reserves the right to revise rates if shipment details change at pickup.

5. Driver & Carrier Onboarding

All driver applicants must hold a valid commercial driver's license (CDL-A or CDL-B), pass MVR and drug screening, and provide valid insurance documentation. HSF reserves the right to refuse onboarding at our sole discretion. Carriers must maintain active MC# and DOT# authority and a minimum $1M auto liability + $100k cargo insurance.

6. Payment

Shippers: payment terms are stated on each booking confirmation, typically net-30 from invoice. Carriers: quick-pay is available through our factoring partners following BOL upload (typical funding within 24–48 hours). Late payment may incur interest at the maximum legal rate.

7. Compliance

HSF operates in compliance with all applicable FMCSA, DOT, HIPAA (for medical freight), CTPAT, and state regulations. Customers shipping hazmat, controlled substances, or temperature-sensitive freight must disclose this in writing prior to pickup.

8. Limitation of Liability

HSF's liability for loss or damage to cargo is governed by the Carmack Amendment and our published cargo-insurance terms. HSF is not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages including but not limited to lost profits, business interruption, or supply-chain delays caused by force majeure events (weather, accidents, road closures, labor disputes, governmental actions).

9. Intellectual Property

The Harewood Swift Freight name, logo, website content, and software are the property of HSF. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the website, SMS program, or services at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including breach of these Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina.

12. Changes

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new Last updated date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
